Our Curriculum
We adopt a child-centred approach which focuses on children’s development in different aspects coupled with their needs and interests. Through story-based, theme and project approach learning, the six developmental objectives and learning areas are integrated to accomplish a child’s overall balanced development.
Characteristics of Story-based Learning
- Consolidates children’s listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Allows children to learn through the exploration of illustrations and words in story books
- Promotes and enriches children’s motivation in reading and writing
- Reading and writing activities are integrated into their daily lives
Characteristics of Project Approach Learning
- Learning is child-directed and arouses their motivation in exploring based on their interests
- Children take the initiative to construct their own learning, expanding their knowledge and vision
- Develops children’s drive to self-learn and enhances their problem-solving and inquiry skill
- Provides opportunities for children to demonstrate their achievements in learning and reinforces their speaking and writing skills
